Mary McLeod Bethune – an American educator and child of former slaves – is famous for saying “as I give, I get.” She recognized that one of the most rewarding things a family can do together is give back. Even for those not in the top 1%, many are driven to help others, improve their community, or tackle global challenges through their charitable giving and volunteering. Some might be unfamiliar with the term philanthropy, but still feel called to do more with the resources they have – that is where Delivering Impact comes in.
We help identify what causes you are passionate about
Delivering Impact can sit down with you and your family to help identify what causes you are passionate about, the impact you want to accomplish through your engagement with nonprofits, how to assess who to support, and how to determine whether your investments are yielding the return you expect.
We offer three levels of service for families and individuals:
Staffing
Delivering Impact can become your de facto staff. We will meet with you at regular and pre-defined intervals to understand your giving priorities, the impact you desire, and the return on investment you hope to accomplish through your giving. We will then pre-vet nonprofits for you that qualify for your giving based on predetermined standards. Once you have selected who you would like to support, and in what way/at what level, Delivering Impact will help facilitate your philanthropy all along the way. Fostering a relationship with the charities you support; we will help keep you engaged in the organizations you are committed to throughout the lifecycle of your investment. Delivering Impact will also secure timely reports on the impact of your investment and help assess whether to continue support after initial investments. A flat monthly rate is charged regardless of the hours worked to allow our customers unfettered access to their Delivering Impact support team. Rates are determined based on the size and needs of the staff.
Strategizing
This option is designed for organizations that have existing staff with fundraising experience. Through a combination of pre-established tools purchased by organizations leveraging this option, and project-based support, Delivering Impact enhances the capacity of our nonprofit customers with this affordable and pragmatic approach. These relationships are contract based with agreed-upon rates that are set not to go beyond certain limits. Hours and project work are closely tracked and invoiced monthly.
Ad Hoc Supporting
Part of what has made you successful is your ability to recognize your strengths and weaknesses, prioritize your workload, and when necessary, delegate. The Delivering Impact team stands by ready to help meet any needs that arise within your giving strategy. Whether it is a program evaluation, proposal review, or coordinating field visits, our team of passionate professionals is equipped to meet your charitable needs. These relationships are contract based with agreed-upon rates that are set not to go beyond certain limits. Hours and project work are closely tracked and invoiced monthly.
